How Excellent Systems handles personal data on excellent.ps, and how to have yours deleted. Last updated 4 November 2026.
In short
- This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
- The contact form sends nothing to our servers. It opens your own email app.
- Our web server keeps technical access logs for 14 days, then deletes them automatically.
- The Google map on the contact page loads only if you click to allow it.
- You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data at any time.
Who is responsible
The controller for personal data processed through this website is Excellent Systems Co., Al-Falah Building, Al-Quds Street, Al-Bireh, Palestine. Email info@excellent.ps, telephone +972 2 298 5198.
We apply the standards of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to everyone who uses this website, wherever they are.
Visiting the website
When you open a page, our web server automatically records your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, your browser and operating system (user agent) and the referring page.
- Purpose
- Delivering the website, keeping it secure and investigating errors or attacks.
- Legal basis
- Our legitimate interest in a secure, working website, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- Retention
- Deleted automatically after 14 days, unless a specific log is needed to investigate a security incident, and then only until that investigation ends.
This website does not use cookies or browser storage. Fonts and images are served from our own server, so opening a page does not contact Google Fonts or other third parties.
Contacting us
The contact form does not transmit anything to our website. It prepares an email in your own email app, and nothing is sent until you press send there. When you email, call or message us, we receive what you choose to share, typically your name, organisation, contact details and project information.
- Purpose
- Answering your enquiry and, if you ask, preparing a proposal.
- Legal basis
- Steps taken at your request before a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, or our legitimate interest in answering general questions, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- Retention
- Enquiries that do not lead to a project are deleted no later than 12 months after our last contact. If we work together, project correspondence is kept for the duration of the contract and afterwards only as long as accounting, tax or warranty obligations require.
Google Maps
The contact page can show a map from Google Maps. It is not loaded until you click "Load map". If you do, your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address and may set cookies. Google Ireland Ltd and Google LLC are responsible for that processing, and data may be transferred to the United States, where Google LLC participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
- Legal basis
- Your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive.
- Withdrawing consent
- Your choice is not stored. Leave or reload the page and the map will not load again unless you click. To remove cookies Google may have set, clear them in your browser.
WhatsApp and external links
The WhatsApp link and links to other websites take you to services run by other companies. Nothing is shared with them until you follow the link, after which their own privacy policies apply, for WhatsApp the WhatsApp privacy policy.
Deletion policy
We keep personal data only as long as we need it, and delete it on a fixed schedule:
| Data | Deleted |
|---|---|
| Web server access logs | Automatically after 14 days |
| Enquiries that did not lead to a project | Within 12 months of our last contact |
| Project and contract correspondence | When the contract, warranty and legal retention periods have ended |
| Records of data protection requests | 3 years after the request is closed |
Asking us to delete your data
- Email info@excellent.ps with the subject "Data deletion request", or write to our office address.
- We may ask you to confirm your identity, only so that we do not delete or disclose someone else's data.
- We delete your data and confirm in writing within one month. In complex cases this can be extended by two further months, and we will tell you why within the first month.
- If the law requires us to keep some records, for example invoices, we tell you which ones, restrict them to that purpose and delete them when the obligation ends.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15)
- have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16)
- have your data erased (Art. 17)
- restrict how we use it (Art. 18)
- receive it in a portable format (Art. 20)
- object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21)
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that happened before (Art. 7(3))
To use any of these rights, contact us as described above. Requests are free of charge. You can also complain to the data protection supervisory authority in the EU country where you live or work.
We do not sell personal data and do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
Security and changes
The website is served only over encrypted HTTPS, and access to logs and correspondence is limited to the staff who need it. If we change how we process data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
